An Additional Writing on Lagarias–suzuki (2006)

چکیده
At first, we show the following matter. Theorem 1. Let H∗(y; s) be as above. Suppose that y ≥ 1 and p(s) has N many zeros counted with multiplicity in the right half-plane R(s) > 1/2. Then H∗(y; s) has at most N +1 many zeros in the right half-plane R(s) > 1/2 counting with multiplicity, and the same thing holds in the left half-plane R(s) < 1/2. The trivial functional equation H(y; s) = H(y; 1− s) implies H∗(y; 1− s) = −H∗(y; s). Therefore, it suffices to study the zeros of H∗(y; s) in the right half-plane R(s) > 1/2. In what follows, we suppose that σ = R(s) > 1/2.

متن کاملThe Effect of Genre-based Scaffolding on Research Paper Writing of MA Candidates in an EFL Context
In recent years, there has been an increasing amount of literature on genre-based approaches to writing instruction. However, scant attention has been paid to the use of genre-based scaffolding in the realm of academic writing. Hence, in an attempt to tackle the problems prevalent in academic writing, this study set out to investigate the effect of genre-based scaffolding through sentence start...
متن کاملHow to Write a Math Paper (Rough Draft)
This is a skeletal and opinionated description of paper writing. Take from it the good things, and disregard the bad things. 1 First Draft The hardest thing about writing a paper (in my experience) is getting a first draft written. In particular, if there are proofs, the hard part means getting some draft of a proof written down on paper, not necessarily with every detail included. It is not ne...
متن کاملOperationalization of Formative Assessment in Writing: An Intuitive Approach to the Development of an Instrument
The current study aimed to develop a Formative Assessment of Writing (FAoW) instrument through operationalizing Black and Wiliam’s (2009) Formative Assessment (FA) and Hattie and Timperley’s (2007) feedback model. Following intuitive approach of scale construction (Hase & Goldberg, 1967), a comprehensive review of the literature was undertaken, and 30 Likert scale items were devised. The items...
